Pretty in my Pocket App Reviews

This is a great idea, but needs a lot of work. First of all, every time you add a product to your bag, it reloads, taking a long time. A lot of products and brands must be searched for (they cant be found just browsing), and some products, mostly limited edition, can ONLY be found with a barcode. Hard Candy isnt in here at all. Searches must be exact (you must search for "e.l.f.," "elf" will get you nowhere). There are a lot of duplicates. You can add items to your "bag," but I cant figure out what you do with that. Capitalization of items in lists is not consistent and therefore not attractive. Also, its not optimized for iPhone 5.

This app is fantastic idea and has a lot of potential. I love makeup and all things beauty related. Before I make any purchases I love to read reviews online and this is a great way to get honest advice from fellow ladies. However I tried the barcode scan with some products I had on hand and not all of them came up and not all had reviews. I assume once more people start using this app itll be more helpful. Cute design and easy to use!

I love PRIMP anyway but the new version is even more useful and fast. I scan bar codes in Ulta and CVS before I buy beauty products, and it helps me make good decisions. Its fun to use and provides useful information. The Pretty in My Pocket Facebook posts also provide great beauty tips and deals. This app will keep getting better and better with more users, so get it today and be part of a growing community of beauty product users!

This app is awesome its so quick you can just scan a barcode off make up and itll tell you all about it. Its so easy to use and they give you great tips you should check it out!

Seriously OBSESSED. Primp is addicting and helpful. Whether Im browsing products from the couch or scanning mascara in the aisle, Im always having fun and shopping smarter.

Before Primp, I would spend no less than 4 hours a month (not to mention wads of cash) on pondering which gloss and eyeshadow would give me that flawless look from the most recent televised red carpet. I didnt want to spend hundreds of dollars at the Armani counter and be subjected to a pushy sales person who was going to snub me as soon as they found out I was only going to buy a tube of lipgloss. Primp has changed my life and added hours to my calendar! The blog is my favorite part. I can read about looks and how to get them from everyday products I can find at CVS and Walgreens. Thank you PRIMP!!!

Pretty in my Pocket can do almost whatever you need to help you make a decision in the beauty aisle. I get inspired by the makeup images in "Looks." And the "All-Time" best products have yet to fail me in a moment of need at the drugstore! I love that PRIMP has beauty-savvy bloggers on board as "Power Primpers" and "Makeup Mavens." These chicks are awesome and know SO much about makeup. I always check to see whats in their virtual beauty bag first. PRIMP is really coming along as a fun, help app that Im excited to watch improve & grow as a network.

This app is a definite must have for any beauty shopper. Never waste any more time staring at the millions of product options in the aisle with no clue what differentiates one product from another. With a barcode scan function, rating and reviews, beauty looks for makeup inspiration, top voted products for each beauty category, and the ability to look at the virtual beauty bags of your friends and even expert bloggers, you get all the advice and tools you need right when youre shopping in the aisle. BONUS: Their Featured section keeps you updated on all the beauty news from trends, tips, sweepstakes, popular looks, and more! Did I mention it was free?

This is one of the best new apps I have seen. I find it very easy to use once youve spend a few minutes exploring and reading the tutorials. Pretty in my Pocket is brand new so I look forward to seeing what improvements they have in store. It is not 100% perfect yet, but the app boasts a huge database and a slew of helpful shopping tools. This ones a must-have!

This app is beautiful and so helpful! I know there are not reviews for all the products, but there are so many more than when PRIMP first started. Also, perks are coming soon!

I almost freaked when I read the description of this app. Its a great concept - product reviews, creating looks, the ability to scan items, etc. - but there are some things that frustrate me.. Like fuzzy profile pictures. I just dont feel like Im getting the same sleek experience that I get when using the Consumr app. Still decent though. Hopefully theyre working on improvements.

Good app for beauty product junkies but theres room for growth. I love that I now have a separate app to list the products that Im currently using on my phone, along with a list of wish list products that I can refer to when Im shopping. I kept lists on Evernote but am happier with them on PRIMP. Would love to see a few more brands (Sonia Kashuk & more Jane Cosmetics) and wish there was a way to add my own notes when I add a product to one of my lists--such as who recommended the product or an alternative use for it.

This app is perfect for beauty lovers! Its so fun to create a virtual makeup bag and give your input into products you love! This app is a must have for the girly girls out there trying to find new products to try out, see whats hot, and more! Lots of fun :)

So far I like the app. But its hard to completely build your profile and review things when you cant add them if theyre not found. Shouldnt getting to know more and new products be part if this app?? I cant even add things to my wish list or to the whats in my bag section. Please add an option to add new product if not found? It cant even find something as popular as revlon color stay.
